A stupid post with stupid photos just to tell...that i'm leaving to Amsterdam tomorrow YAY!

Saturday was the hottest day ever here in Italy.
40 degrees. So why not spend the day doing shopping (we ♥ air conditioners)?!
I went to Florence with my best friend Chiara, we bought a lot of pretty nice clothes.
Nothing makes me happy like shopping does, it's the best medicine.

i'm always busy, and can't find time for some outfit photos. I have only a few followers (actually one), so i'm taking it easy.
I'm reading a lot in these days: Shakespeare, Nabokov, Baudelaire, Goldoni, Voltaire, Gogol are only a few.
I'm also eating blueberries, raspeberries like i never did before, it's kinda strange.
This summer i didn't go anythere and i'd really like to escape, to fly away from this routine.
I love traveling, going to places where nobody knows you, it makes me feel free.
aaaaah, summer in the city, never again!

Unexpected.

yesterday was totally unplanned.
we went to Vada, a small city near Livorno, famous for the white beach. Right in front of the Solvay factory, the sand is carribean white due to unloading of carbonated calcium.
this place is a like a small paradise, that's why i smile in every photo.
(the dress i'm wearing is absolutely my favourite one)


PS: this is an unexpected gift my parents made me (i wanted this for soooo long)

Missing Amsterdam.

i miss eating at the irish pub, my cousins (living in Den Haag), walking by the seaside when it snows , the canal cruise in Amsterdam, cold weather, madurodam (you absolutely have to visit it if you're in holland), shopping streets, playing wii with my cousins till 2 a.m., new year's fireworks, feeling unguilty after eating junkfood

Yesterday's been the first sunny day here in Italy after a rainy week, perfect for sunbathing.
When we were coming home, we found a flock of sheep crossing the road, unusual and strange. lol
By the way I can't wait to watch Grey's anatomy 8 season, with Dr Shepherd!!

PS: i'm addicted to this song. it's relaxing.
